The new EU industrial strategy fosters an environment of collaboration and partnership with industry across Europe. “The Commission is ready to co-design and co-create solutions with industry itself, as well as with social partners and all other stakeholders.”
The industrial strategy brings sustainability as a core element of its plan acknowledging that the EU Green Deal provides a crucial framework for industry to integrate as a reality of today.
The European abrasive industry has already embraced some of the key principles outlined in the new industrial strategy by launching the Sustainable European Abrasive Manufacturers (SEAM) program, giving a framework to companies on how to continuously improve their sustainability performance.
