Founded in 1955, FEPA, the Federation of European Producers of Abrasives, represents 90% of the European producers of abrasive products: world leaders, small and medium-sized companies.

Mission

FEPA is committed to its members and missions, aside from representing the European abrasive industry, are to promote abrasives produced in Europe, inform members on the evolution of the regulatory framework in Europe and worldwide, support the producers with a range of technical, legal and scientific services, and anticipate future challenges in the abrasives sector.

European Union

Based in Paris, FEPA is an engaged partner to the European Union, interacting on behalf of its members with European institutions, non-governmental organisations and other stakeholders. FEPA is registered in the EU Transparency Register under n° 884099437411-41.

A strong commitment to an established international network

The European abrasives industry exports 35% of its production outside of Europe, making it important to FEPA to contribute to international matters through trade associations or world communities such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
