FEPA Announces Election Results for 2020-2022 Management Committee

Stefan Sjöberg Assumes Role as President, 2020-2022

Paris, France – The Federation of European Producers of Abrasives (FEPA) today announced the results of its Management Committee (MC) Election for the term 2020-2022, beginning on May 29th, 2020, the day of the Annual General Assembly. Every two years, FEPA’s Direct Members and Individual Members vote to select new MC Members for the Federation’s all-volunteer Management Committee.

The Committee is composed of the following elected members: Presidency (President and Vice-President), seven (7) Direct Members representatives, one (1) Individual Members representative, and one (1) Independent Expert. The latter is elected for a one-year term.

The following well-qualified individuals were elected as Members of the Management Committee this term:

Presidency
  • President: Stefan Sjöberg – Mirka Ltd
  • Vice-President: Xavier Orlhac – Saint-Gobain Abrasives 
Direct Members Representatives
  • Jan Cord Becker – Hermes Schleifmittel
  • Ugo Filippi – SAIT
  • Laura Galli – 3M
  • Dieter Hermann – Imerys Fused Minerals
  • Rok Mezgec – Weiler Abrasives
  • Xavier Orlhac – Saint-Gobain Abrasives
  • Norbert Texler – Tyrolit 
Individual Members Representative
  • Patrick Sandman – Levanto Oy
Independent Expert
  • Reinhard Joas

 

These elected-members come to complete the six national associations that have a permanent seat on the Management Committee: ANFA (Spain), BAF (United Kingdom), FEDERCHIMICA (Italy), FSKI-WKO (Austria), SNAS (France), and SNAS (France).
